It’s depressing that women in America are the target of hate and suspicion simply because they possess wombs. Suppressing the rights of women is morally wrong — whether it’s the Taliban or Christian fundamentalists doing the suppressing. America appears to be entering a new dark age where women’s reproductive rights are once again a political battlefield.

The impassioned arguments used to be over a woman’s legal right to have an abortion. Now the fanatics are going after contraception? How can birth control still be an issue in this day and age? Only in fucking America.

I find it ironic that politicians who are so viscerally opposed to “big government” have absolutely no problem with the government’s intrusion into the most intimate, personal business of its citizens when it comes to women’s reproductive choices.

Thanks to the GOP big government is now small enough to fit inside your vagina.

While many Americans hold deeply conservative views regarding so-called “family values,” it’s clear that sex has never played a bigger role in our culture. It’s everywhere: on TV, in movies, magazines, music videos, etc. — but we are still a profoundly sexually repressed nation, living in denial. Why is it always the family values supporters who wind up getting caught – literally – with their pants down?

How many times have we seen one of those family values supporting homosexual hating Republicans crash and burn when they’re busted in a bathroom stall giving blowjobs to strangers?

I love it when some self-righteous family man with eight kids has an affair with his married assistant and when she gets pregnant he demands that she abort the fetus…even though the guy voted to defund Planned Parenthood like eight times. They always ask us to ‘pray’ for them. Because you know…Jebus.

This sexual dichotomy has created an unhealthy and negative impression in this country that sex is somehow “dirty” or unwholesome. In the USA, the naked human body is considered inappropriate and disgusting, yet treating women as sex objects and baby-makers is perfectly acceptable.

In Europe and much of the rest of the world people are exposed to nudity all the time and no one bats an eye. Americans are always shocked to learn that the civilized world doesn’t really consider sex that big of a deal. It’s simply a natural part of a healthy, normal life.

The self-loathing closeted gay misogynist GOP keeps attacking Planned Parenthood even though the organization saves millions of lives by providing basic healthcare through breast cancer screenings and reduces unwanted pregnancies and abortions by providing contraceptive services.

The Anti-abortion fanatics never mention the 65% rise in homeless children over the last decade. The USA and South Sudan are the only two countries on the planet which refused to ratify the UN’s Convention on the Rights of the Child. It’s a curious phenomenon that a fucking fetus garners more sympathy in this country than a living child starving on the streets.
