This is really it. There is no hope left for this country. Year after year, I voted for HOPE and CHANGE and this is what happens: Outright fascism. Well played, America!

I’ve considered this possibility for quite some time, but somehow I never thought the country could sink this low. Rather than a slow, measured decline, America is now a fully-fledged Banana-Republic.

We are already an international pariah; I just thought it couldn’t get any worse. Silly me!

Prepare for the worst years of your life – as if it’s not bad enough for most people already. I fear for everyone’s children. I sure am glad my wife and I never had kids. Best decision we ever made, I tell you what…

And good luck on retirement, too. You ain’t seen nothing yet. There probably won’t be any Social Security in four years time. Who knows what the future will bring, but I guarantee you that everything will get way worse than it already is.

Other than the military coup in 1963 – which terminated our last legitimate president and effectively nullified the Executive Branch – this is the darkest day in American history.

I will never be able to watch the news again because that thing might appear on it. I can’t stand to listen to one second of that cretin’s voice and the instant his image appears I switch it off. I’m afraid to turn on the TV.

I’ll have to stick with the bread & circuses – sports and movies – in order to escape from now on.

I don’t want to sound too melodramatic, but our only choice now is to buy a gun to protect ourselves from the lunatics who now run the country. I’m gonna do that this weekend.

I fear for all the women, children, gays, immigrants, Muslims and other non-whites in this once-great nation. The purges will begin soon. We have clearly fallen over the abyss and there is no turning back now.

I pledge to participate in every protest and every act of civil unrest I am able to attend, and I’m willing to be arrested. I used to be a pacifist, but I must admit that I support open revolution now. There is no other alternative.

If Bernie Sanders hadn’t been railroaded by his own party in California, this election would have been a landslide for the Democrats, that much is certain.

Whatever happens, I am not gonna sit back and let my country be destroyed by a bunch of white-trash hillbilly psychopaths. Bush was bad enough.

I love you all, but love does NOT conquer EVIL. Sorry. History has proven this. The forces of righteousness  get a few minor incremental victories which are subsequently reversed later through legislation or by sheer force. We are dealing with a profound evil which is far too powerful and entrenched to be defeated. America is truly hell on earth.

Trump’s first executive action will be to deny 40 million Americans healthcare. I guess his second act will be to sign the arrest warrant for Hillary…but he’ll probably claim to be magnanimous and pardon her…as if to pretend like he’s human or something.

I am considering all my options now, including moving to Mexico with Uncle Bill. At this point, all bets are off.

Goddess help us! I’m still praying for the Giant Meteor…
