The strategy is becoming clear.                             

The protests are slowly diminishing and the momentum has been lost.

As usual, Our Rulers now control the agenda.

Thanks to the full cooperation of America’s mainstream media (MSM), the entire focus of the mass protests on behalf of George Floyd is now being narrowed to one issue: POLICE REFORM. They have co-opted the discussion, and parameters of the national debate have been set.

You will see this develop over the next few months.

After awhile no further discussion of any broader issues like systemic racism or Black Lives Matter will be entertained. The public gatherings will not be allowed to evolve into calls for “president” tRump or Attorney General Fred Flintstone to be removed from office. The protests will not be allowed to expand for demands that the “government” address any of these matters on a federal level. The marches and mass gatherings are now simply about ending POLICE REFORM and nothing else.

And you can bet that any general ‘anti-war’ movements sparked by the BLM protests will quickly be labeled terrorism, and they will be dealt with accordingly.

So now that Our Rulers and their enablers in the media don’t have to address any of the real issues surrounding the George Floyd murder…stuff like racist cops; our hyper-militarized society; institutionalized racism in the nation’s courts; the ongoing crisis of mass incarceration…they won’t .

Voila! They’re always three steps ahead. See how that works?

Justice denied? You bet.

What action do you think will be taken by our friendly fascists to regain the public’s trust in these trying times? When presented with this growing existential crisis, what sort of plan do you think our “elected leaders” will come up with?

Naturally, they will form A COMMITTEE to study the issue.

Of course! That’s the ticket! Yet another committee to study police reforms. And just to make it look like they’re really serious this time, it will be a “bi-partisan” committee made up of “experts” from “both sides of the isle.”

The Committee will discuss recommendations for police departments to follow in the wake of the George Floyd killing and the ensuing mass protests inspired by his senseless murder at the hands of the Minneapolis police. “We really mean it this time!”

This super-serious group of experts might even request public, televised hearings to “finally get to the bottom” of the growing, nation-wide problem of POLICE REFORM.

Sigh…

And after several million dollars of taxpayer money and three years of Senate and Congressional hearings and fact-finding investigations (these things take time, you know…) the committee will submit its final report, which will use a lot of flowery language about ending racial profiling and the need to work with communities to regain “trust”…maybe ban choke-holds and “no-knock” warrants…and it will provide lots of non-binding recommendations to police departments around the country to follow…if they want to…voluntarily…

No federal guidelines or actual protocols or required procedures, mind you. Just recommendations. And the “new” recommendations will be written with the input of the police union…

And people will accept it and move on.

Don’t worry, though. PROFESSIONAL SPORTS will be back soon enough; everyone will be allowed to take a knee, the gigantic American flag will be unfurled; the jets will fly over; and all this George Floyd / Black Lives Matter / police reform rigamarole will soon be co-opted by corporate America and turned into some sort of marketing scheme.

Call me crazy.
