They keep saying that “president” tRump can’t legally postpone November’s “election.”

It is true that only Congress can legally postpone the election. But there’s that pesky word again: legally. What’s happened in the last three and a half years that would lead anyone to believe that tRump isn’t going to at least try to do it? How can anyone put ANYTHING past this guy – or the GOP – based on past experience? How many times have rational people said, “He can’t do that..!” And then amazingly, it happens.

If people are too naïve to think this is a real possibility they haven’t been paying close enough attention. Again, Umerkins are seriously underestimating the forces arrayed against them. Team tRump will sign an Executive Order stating that the upcoming election must be postponed for ‘massive fraud’ or whatever. It won’t matter. The GOP will back him.

Pompeo’s “Justice” Dept and tRump’s attorneys Douchewitz and Sphincterlow will argue that they already successfully proved the president is above the law during the impeachment hearing. They will affirm that he has virtually unlimited power, and that he is not beholden to any other branch of government…and that he can basically do whatever the hell he wants. So he will.

And even if he is unable to postpone the election, he will surely contest the ‘most fraudulent election ever’ (or whatever).

I’m just tired of going, “HE CAN’T GET AWAY WITH THAT!!!” And every single time he gets away with it. So okay, while I hope to god this won’t happen, I am not willing to put anything past the GOP at this point.

The “president” has already said he will not abide by the recent Supreme Court decision demanding the reinstatement of the DACA program. Look it up: The White House informed the Supreme Court that the DHS intend to ignore the recent finding…a sure sign of things to come.

So no, nothing is off the table.
