Delays in counting the mail-in ballots will be pivotal to Team tRump’s strategy to ‘legally’ steal the election. According to a recent Washington Post report, US postal workers and union leaders are already worried that newly implemented procedures – which have led to delays across the country in mail delivery – could impact mail-in voting for the November Presidential election.
Newly installed Postmaster General Louis DeJoy was placed in charge to find ways to deter mail-in voting at all costs. The Democrats proposed $3.6bn in election funding to help states with vote processing with another $25bn for the USPS to help it meet the expected demand from the 180 million registered voters who plan to vote by mail.
But tRrump is having none of it. He opposes these measures because he explicitly opposes mail-in voting.
“If we don’t make a deal, that means they don’t get the money,” The Despot told Fox ‘News.’ “That means they can’t have universal mail-in voting. They just can’t have it.”
Trump also repeated his false claim that mail-in ballots would be “fraudulent”.
So the strategy is becoming more clear.
This is the scenario planned by Our Rulers (with perhaps slight variation): by midnight on election day, Joe Biden has a substantial lead in the national popular vote, but the Electoral College vote remains tight. With the races in most states already called, Biden leads tRump in the EC, but neither candidate has secured the 270 votes necessary to win.
It all comes down to 3 swing states: Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania and their 46 Electoral College votes.
tRump enjoys a slim lead in all three, but most of the election-day results don’t include mail-in ballots, due to the many postal delays. Understaffed and over-worked officials are unable to process the huge volume of ballots in a timely manner because of the need to social distance and sheer lack of man-power.
tRump’s vile, shameless lawyers – aided by Fred Flintstone’s totally corrupt Justice* Department – then bring multiple lawsuits, arguing that most – if not all – of the mail-in ballots should be thrown out because they weren’t received by the date required by statute.
The legal battles rage on as the vote count continues. tRump’s slim lead begins to shrink until it vanishes altogether. By the time Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania complete their count nearly a month after the election, Biden now leads in all three states, and it appears that he has won the election.
But not so fast. Predictably, tRump refuses to accept the results due to “massive fraud.” He TWEETS to his base that all of his worst nightmares have come true. The administration* insists that the election has been rigged and the radical Democrats are trying to steal tRump’s victory.
Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania are all controlled by Republican legislatures, faithful to The Despot – so they declare tRrump victorious in their respective states, citing unreasonable delays in the counting of the mail-in ballots, as well as other unspecified “irregularities.”
The Republicans award all of their Electoral College votes to tRump.
In response, the Democratic governors of all three states declare that the mail-in ballots are indeed valid and that they recognize Joe Biden as the real winner. The legal battles rage on.
But here’s the thing: Congress is constitutionally mandated to certify the election results on January 6, 2021. But Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania each submit conflicting electoral certificates: one awarding its EC votes to Trump; the other to Biden.
And so Congress descends into chaos; both sides claiming the other is trying to steal the election. Acrimonious debate ensues, with each side claiming the other is trying to steal the election. The Senate, which after the 2020 vote remains in Republican control, rejects the governors’ certificates and instead accepts the legislatures’.
The Democratic controlled House votes in favor of the governors.
Finally, both parties appeal to the Supreme Court, but the Court – in contrast to its intervention in 2000 in Bush v Gore – proves unable to solve the crisis. Kavanagh and Gorsuch insist that the Supreme Court has no role to play in resolving an election dispute once it reaches Congress. With lawmakers in both parties declaring they would not abide by an unfavorable ruling, the Court refuses to intervene.
Congress remains deadlocked, with neither party prepared to concede. As violent protests rage across the country, tRump – with the full support of the Justice* Dept – invokes the Insurrection Act; deploying the US military to major urban areas in order to quell the riots and protect his “victory.”
Thus, the nation finds itself in a full-blown crisis of succession from which there is no clear, peaceful exit.
This is what we’re being set up for. It doesn’t take a genius to see it coming…
