Given the opportunity to thwart Senate Majority Leader Mitch “the Bitch” McConnell’s timeline to confirm psycho Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court, the Dems predictably caved in instead and gave him the “unanimous consent” he needed to adjourn the Senate early to have the nomination process completed before the upcoming “election.”

There were any number of ways the Democrats could have stymied McConnell’s agenda, but they chose not to. They declined to use the power which they had so vehemently promised to use just the week before.

There were procedural equivalents to filibusters House Democratic leader Chuck Schumer could have employed to at least forestall the process: ‘quorum calls’ being one and ‘unanimous consent’ being the other.

Schumer could have forced the Republicans to have 51 senators on hand for any vote. He could have denied a consent agenda, grinding business in the Senate to a halt. If the Democratic leadership really believes the next president should name the nominee, they should have acted like it…

But alas, the distractions provided by “partisan wrangling” are used as a smoke screen by both parties to cover their asses. A plutocrat is a plutocrat; it doesn’t matter a fuck to them at the end of the day – their wealth will keep increasing. The Dems like to pretend they’re on some moral high ground, but they aren’t. They’re greedy money hungry fuckers, too.

People need to accept reality: the corporations have won; they rule, and there isn’t a goddam thing anyone can do about it.

tRump has TWEETED that he’s pushing this nomination through so quickly so that he can have a favorable Supreme Court when he contests the upcoming “election.” Only if he loses, of course – if there’s fraud and he wins he’s cool with it…

So the sham ‘hearings’ are over now and Diane Feinstein needs to go. She and her Zionist husband. Feinstein and Nancy Pelosi are perfect examples of everything that’s wrong with the Democratic Party, and why so many decent people have been turned off by politics in America.

The Democrats are simply playing their part, though; turning a blind eye to the tRump crime family’s illegitimate takeover of what’s left of our government.

They’re also doing it because American democracy has degraded to the point where serious constitutional change has become virtually impossible. The only branch of government that can achieve anything is the part that’s unelected. That’s the bit that damns both parties.

Still, while the Democratic establishment is indeed a squalid nest of hypocrites, no less warmongering or neoliberal than Republicans…they are still right sometimes…but this isn’t one of those times.

I’ve been thinking about it, and if there was a Socialist Party, I’d vote…but I’m not voting for fucking Joe Biden. He doesn’t represent me any more than Donald tRump…and I’m REALLY REALLY tired of being forced to vote for the lesser of two evils.

So who shall it be? Tweedledum or Tweedldee?
