Americans sure do love their fucking GUNS! No doubt about it. The gun nuts in Oregon were out in force last week to protest president Obama’s visit to meet with families of the dead students from Umpqua Community College.

It was the 45th school shooting of the year.

“Prayers not politics” proclaimed one of the signs. “He’s not welcome to politicize our tragedy for his agenda,” some jackass ranted to the media.

So, making a big spectacle to protest the president’s visit to your Podunk backwater burgh to attend a private service to honor the victims’ families is not politicizing the issue? Riiiiight. Got it. Thanks.

“We all know what that agenda is,” he continued, “Gun control.”

Ah, those dreaded words. They’re coming to take your GUNS, right? Of course, it was ‘politics’ which reversed and severely weakened all the pre-existing gun-control legislation already on the books thanks to the NRA but never mind.

Because you know, politics is only a good thing when it helps a tiny minority of gun manufacturers make obscene profits.

Many of the protesters in Oregon – who no doubt were heavily armed – claimed that stricter gun control laws would only hurt law-abiding citizens. Because they’re morons.

“Spend more money on mental health,” one protester sneered. “That guy [the gunman] was obviously a nutcase.”

This of course overlooks the fact that America’s criminally inadequate healthcare system is a direct result of the ‘Reagan Revolution’ which drastically cut access to mental health facilities for millions of people. Reagan de-funded the VA and kicked all the mentally ill out onto the streets. He virtually created America’s homeless problem. People thought he was just great.

If the GOP had their way, mental health facilities would no longer even exist in this country. Additionally, thanks to the Republicans, all federally-funded research into the health effects of gun violence was banned years ago by the CDC. The issue of gun control is far too complex, say the so-called “experts.”

The irrational love of guns is a mental illness.

If we’re really serious about caring for the mentally ill in this country, then we need to help those who need it most: GUN LOVERS.

Narcissists who care so little about their own communities – who love their precious guns more than they love their own wives and kids: those people are dangerous sociopaths who desperately need help, just like that ‘nutcase’ in Oregon.

Another protester from Oregon, Jan Cuddy, held up a sign that said: “I’m a Christian. Why didn’t God stop the shooting? How could he? He is not allowed in school anymore.”

So what would Jebus do? Strap on a fucking assault rifle and take out the bad guys? Seriously: Jesus Christ – the Christian Jesus of the Bible – would be throwing up in his tunic at such nonsense.

In lieu of taking any sort of action, however, the entire GOP predictably offered to pray for the victims. I mean, since they plan to do absolutely nothing to stop it from happening again. And again. And again.

Because, you know…Jebus.

Blah, blah, blah – on it goes, ad nauseum.

What fantastic, infantile minds these gun lovers have! You gotta hand it to them. They live in a magical, comic-book world filled with good versus evil and black and white and halos and horns. No wonder the odious Marvel Comics Avengers series is so popular nowadays; no wonder Donald fucking Trump is topping the polls. It all makes sense when you realize that America is a nation of irresponsible morons.

Here’s the other thing about gun lovers which backs up my theory that they are dangerous sociopaths: gun lovers are liars and deceivers. They lie through their teeth about why they need AR15s in their homes. They claim it’s for protection or self-defense or sport or whatever, but let’s face it: THEY JUST REALLY LOVE GUNS. That’s all it is. They just love guns. More than anything – more than life itself – they fucking love guns!

A pathological love of guns is not a good enough reason to keep them legal.

Sorry.

Deceptive people shouldn’t be allowed to own weapons of mass destruction. Would it make sense to give an addict more drugs? Further research needs to be done on this, but if we can’t depend on them to be truthful about their abnormal attraction to deadly weapons, why should we believe they have only good intentions?

I don’t know which is worse: someone who openly loves guns or someone who blatantly lies about it.

The real simple answer to America’s gun epidemic is to just take the fucking guns away. By force if necessary. We are not worthy. Americans are not responsible or mature enough to deal with military-grade hardware in a safe and responsible manner. If you’re crazy enough to believe that bringing more weapons into your neighborhood makes it safer, you are obviously too fucking crazy and stupid to enjoy the right to bear arms. The vast majority of Americans should have their weapons taken from them. I will support that legislation; you bet I will.

The rest of the world considers the USA the biggest threat to world peace and for good reason: we’re fucking nuts.

Strict gun control laws have been enacted in free societies before, and it works, BTW. If there was ever a “gun culture,” Australia was it. Like America, that nation was built on overwhelming firepower. The settlers conquered and enslaved the indigenous population thanks to superior weaponry.

Yet after too many shooting massacres by crazed gunmen, Australia took the bold step in 1996 of banning most firearms, including assault rifles. Since then, gun violence has dramatically decreased. Sure, bad guys can still get their hands on weapons, but instead of the bargain prices criminals pay in the USA, black-market guns cost tens of thousands of dollars in Australia.

There aren’t a whole lot of mentally ill loners who can afford to pay $45,000 for an AK-47, put it that way.

When I was growing up in greater Los Angeles the authorities were able to rid the poor, gang-ridden neighborhoods of illegal guns through massive ‘gun buy-back’ campaigns. But of course those measures were only taken after a spate of drive-by shootings which began to affect some of the “nicer” neighborhoods…meaning “white.”

When people of color take up arms it suddenly becomes an issue. This is why it’s tragic there are no more Black Panthers. They were all assassinated by the FBI; what a coincidence. I think the gun control issue would take on a new urgency if gangs of armed minorities started showing up at public events like the Oath Keepers.

And here’s the other totally not PC thing about the ongoing 24 hour nationwide active shooter alert: I’m willing to bet that every single one of those mass killers was on heavy-duty psych meds or some kind of antidepressant at the time of the massacre…or they had just stopped taking them. But since that is confidential medical information the public can never be told. Not even in a court of law.

And of course the ‘journalists’ don’t bring it up, either. It’s considered bad etiquette. Even the most liberal progressive alternative news outlet won’t touch that issue with a ten-foot pole. That’s because in all likelihood every single reporter, every editor and the vast majority of their readership are on the very same meds as the killers. Most millennials have been on ADHD meds or anti-depressants since childhood so it’s really not cool to talk about it, man.

Increasingly, the shooters commit suicide before they can be brought to justice, and the autopsy results are confidential. The general public will never know what cocktail of legally-prescribed meds those people were on when they decided to go on their murderous sprees. We are not privy to that information. Big pharma certainly has no complaints.

This is highly relevant. Too bad we can’t discuss it.

But you know what? Fuck guns. Fuck people who love guns. Fuck all gun owners. Including hunters. Yes…hunters.

Hunting wild animals should be outlawed and so should people who think it is okay to hurt animals. Hunters are sick, sad, twisted people. Sorry if that offends anyone. And no, I don’t give a shit about your family upbringing: if you think that it’s okay to take the life of any living creature for fun or sport it’s not that big a step up (down) before it’s okay to kill humans.

America’s militaristic gun culture has done this country irreparable harm. Gun culture is a culture of death and destruction and misery, not freedom and liberty. Fuck all the hateful, ignorant, scared-shitless people who think the 2nd Amendment allows them to stockpile an arsenal of weapons to use against their fellow citizens whenever they get pissed off about something. Or even worse: to use against the evil ‘GUVMINT’ when they threaten to take away your precious guns.

OMG. Gun control. Holy shit this country is fucked. It’s way too late to do anything about it other than load up on more ammo and prepare for the impending blood bath. And there will be blood.

That’s the kind of world these fascists want their kids to grow up in, believe it or not. It’s the only logical conclusion one can make of all this.
