The ‘Rediscovering God in America Renewal Project’

On the eve of the two-month anniversary of the Pulse massacre – where we lost 49 people killed inside an LGBTQ nightclub, Donald Trump and Marco Rubio spoke at an anti-LGBT summit in Orlando called Rediscovering God in America Renewal Project. Although The Don did make an appearance, it was the disgraced Marco Rubio who made the biggest impact on the gathering.

According to the odious media tools Right Wing Watch, Trump joined “Little” Marco Rubio in a lineup of speakers that should make the skin of any normal person crawl. The list included:

  • Republican activist David Barton, who believes that AIDS is God’s punishment for homosexuality and thus He is actively preventing a cure for the disease. He also believes that anti-bullying policies in public schools are attempts by communist atheists to indoctrinate kids into the homosexual lifestyle.
  • Pastor Ken Graves often talks about “militant- homofascism” in his sermons. He believes that gays and their allies the Democrats are trying to build a “secular-humanist caliphate” in America, whatever the hell that is.
  • Bill Federer is convinced that gay rights are bringing about an Islamist takeover of America.
  • David Lane founded of the American Renewal Project. He planned to grill Trump on how he plans to fight “homosexual totalitarianism” and gay rights “militants.”

These people are DANGEROUS, and it goes without saying they are all closeted, self-loathing homosexuals. But the evangelical cretins are the GOP’s most reliable voters. They must be pandered to. They are horribly stupid herd animals easily led by the GOP with  promises of perpetrating biblical culture wars not seen since the Crusades. The GOP today is an insane and frighteningly dumb party, and that alone explains the Trump nomination.

Why do these strange men have such hatred in their hearts for gay people? They certainly cannot call themselves Christians because everything they preach goes against the teachings of “Jesus.” Yet they do indeed call themselves Christian.

They do not believe in love, compassion or caring for others but they are overly obsessed with what other people do privately in their own homes. They create legislation and pass laws to legislate morality and control those who disagree with their narrow vision.

Marco Rubio’s speech to the ‘Rediscovering God in America Renewal’ Conference was quoted in the Orlando Sentinel during the final day of the gathering on Friday, August 12, 2016.

His explanation for his repeated attempts to repeal the law recently passed by the Supreme Court regarding the definition of marriage went like this:

“It is now undeniable that there is(sic) a growing number of Americans who seek to expand that definition to include the union of two people of the same sex,” Rubio said. “I continue to support the traditional definition of marriage.”

“And I do so not because I seek to impose my views on others, not because I seek to discriminate against anyone,” he said, “but because I believe the union of a man and a woman is a special relationship with an extraordinary record of success in raising children and strong and successful people.”

First off, it helps to know that Evangicals such as Rubio are pathological liars and hypocrites. Those are essentially the two defining characteristics of deeply-traumatized, heavily-programmed people. They can’t help it. It is simply part of their make-up. Rubio is literally a mind-controlled robot who spews whatever nonsense he is programmed to spew.

So when he said: “And I do so not because I seek to impose my views on others, not because I seek to discriminate against anyone,” what he really meant was: “I do so because I seek to impose my views on others and because I seek to discriminate against anyone who disagrees with me…”

But the truly hilarious, LOL moment came when he said: “…I believe the union of a man and a woman is a special relationship with an extraordinary record of success in raising children and strong and successful people.”

So it goes without saying that Robot Rubio lives in a fantasy world.

  1. Hi.

Let me begin proofreading your posts, please. “where we lost 49 were killed” – I think you meant to say “where 49 people were killed” or “where we lost 49 people.”

  2. More . . . “recently passed by the Supreme Court” ought to say “recently upheld by the . . . ”

The Supreme Court doesn’t pass laws, it reviews them, either striking them down (remanding them back to District Court, etc.), or upholds them.
