We don’t need a “Smoking Gun” document from the CIA to verify what we already know. What we need is for ‘We the People’ to realize that President Kennedy, his brother Robert Kennedy and civil rights activist Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. – were all murdered in cold blood to protect the ELITE from the cultural revolution that was just beginning to take place in (most of) the United States. This profoundly important social revolution scared the shit out of our rulers. Young people were beginning to wise up…

And so it wasn’t until 1968 when the revolution was finally stopped dead in its tracks when Bobby Kennedy’s body hit the cold hard floor in the kitchen of the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles. He was our last hope. The Elite knew this as well, unfortunately…

As a nation, we are still suffering from the results of those three assassinations. MLK started the revolution; JFK continued the forward progress and RFK meant to finish it. But the coup in ‘63 was really the beginning of the end for the progressive agenda.

Thus began the rise of the TOTAL WAR STATE. And that in turn created the conditions for all of the death and destruction which followed – including Viet Nam.

What voices have we heard from since then, really? Who has emerged to pick up the mantle? Nobody of any real substance, that’s for sure. Bernie Sanders is as close as we’ve come in 40 years.

54 years ago today our nation was taken from us. As of 12.01pm on 22 November 1963 America as we know it ceased to exist. Let’s review the facts:

A military junta has no need for

• the Arts
• environmental protections
• civil liberties
• a livable wage
• a free press
• public education
• Healthcare
• a judiciary
• infrastructure
• public transportation
• immigrants
• Foreign Policy
• global stability
• renewable energy
• police reforms
• checks and balances
• the Constitution

So, since a military junta has no need or desire to pursue any of those basic human needs, all of them must go. It took 60 years, but most of the items above are already gone for all intents and purposes.

The ONLY thing a military junta needs is War. Endless, constant war.

Every year, congress votes to appropriate even more funds to the Defense Department than it requests. How the fuck do you explain that? Year after year, with the economy in tatters, it’s still political suicide to even suggest not increasing the Defense budget. So I ask you: does that sound like a Democracy? Or even a Republic?

It’s a military fucking junta. Believe it.

The figures quoted in the Defense Budget don’t even tell the true story of the outrageous sums of taxpayer money being sucked up by the DoD, either, because so much of it is hidden in the Dept of Energy, Homeland Security, Overseas Contingency Operations, HUD, the Interior Dept – and a lot of it is just flat-out classified.

There isn’t a single state or county anywhere in the entire USA that is not beholden to some component of the Pentagon’s purse strings. No Senator in his right mind would vote to close one of those precious military bases. It would hurt the local economy, they say. Well of course it would!

This is the world we live in. The coup has proven to be a total and complete success. Eisenhower must be spinning in his grave.

Now we have a “president” who is a child molester.

I am very, very angry. And I will never get over it. Nor will what used to be America.

But I send my love and hope to all on this day of remembrance of what could have been…
