Today I saw a slick, campaign-style commercial on TV featuring a woman (clearly under some kind of trauma based mind control…) speaking in support of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

In all my years, that is the first time I’ve ever seen a campaign ad for a fucking Supreme Court nominee! Clearly his confirmation means everything to the GOP. This is make or break for them. But there’s a very simple way to prove this guy is totally unqualified to be a Supreme Court Justice:

tRump nominated him.

I rest my case.

Mark Judge and Chuck Grassley have effectively confirmed that Dr. Ford’s sexual assault allegations are true. Judge was a friend of Kavanaugh’s. He was at the party where the assault took place. If I was good friends with someone and I saw their career and reputation about to be destroyed by a false accusation, I wouldn’t refuse to testify on his behalf.

I’d come forward and defend them. Any normal person would. The fact that Judge has literally gone into hiding not only confirms that he was present during the alleged assault – it pretty much confirms that he knows Kavanaugh is guilty.

As for Grassley – he knows this too, hence the reason he is against Judge testifying. He’s also excluded other witnesses, no doubt concerned that other women might come forward with more stories about Kavanaugh.

Another aspect of this case which has not been discussed is the role assumed privilege played in this scenario. Spoiled prep-school boys have no respect for the opposite sex. They assume their privilege permits them to treat women like property. Rich kids – especially future judges – believe the law doesn’t apply to them, and they are correct for the most part. Trump and Kavanaugh are the pitiful progeny spawned from this amoral, “elite” class.

Notably, there are no Republican women on the Judiciary Committee, so unless Kavanaugh withdraws, or McConnell pushes a floor vote without committee confirmation – we will have the spectacle of a bunch of old white men grilling a victim of sexual assault…at a time when the GOP is already hemorrhaging female and millennial support. By even floating the idea of having female staffers question Dr. Ford instead of actual Senators – Republicans are simply proving how stupid they think women are.

But this little charade is all about pretending that the GOP doesn’t hate women.

Kavanaugh has already lied six times to Congress. He should be impeached from his current position as Appeals Court Judge instead of being illegally installed in the Supreme Court.

But guess what? He is still gonna be confirmed. He means too much to The Agenda.
