Every other day there’s a new mass gun slaughter in the USA and it’s finally become so commonplace that no one even bothers to bring it up. It doesn’t even matter how many are killed anymore. No new laws will be passed. Mass shootings have now been accepted as the norm in America – especially considering that no new gun legislation is even being considered. Nor will it ever again. Not in our lifetimes, anyway.

Get over it. The gun-humpers run the show now.

They were at it again in Virginia last week to celebrate their big annual NRA ‘gun-rights’ AR-15 circle jerk. Oh, how cute they looked all dressed up as terrorists and school shooters.

But wait! THEY’RE COMING TO TAKE YOUR GUNS!

The gun-humpers still try to make that ridiculous argument today when there are virtually no gun control laws left in this country; and in the few regions where laws are actually passed – like here in New Mexico – the fucking state police refuse to enforce them; based on what sort of monkey logic, I don’t know. They should have all been immediately relieved of their duties for refusing a lawful order. Yet somehow they are still employed.

How can we entrust them to enforce all the OTHER laws if they can pick and choose which ones to enforce? I don’t. They also refuse to wear body cameras…I wonder why?

Here’s a hint: human rights abuses.

Communities vote in favor of family-friendly, perfectly reasonable gun control laws but they are subsequently slammed with lawsuit after lawsuit by the NRA and their Tools because some defective individuals care more about the right to own machine guns than they do about the safety of their own children.

But we live in lawless times: every cop is a criminal, and all the sinners saints – as someone once said.

And these people are basically scared shitless of everything. Sad little wusses who can’t face the stresses of life without being able to caress their beloved guns as some sort of salve against all the horrors of the world. My question is: why do we, normal, compassionate, civic-minded citizens, have to bow to the whims of terrified little children masquerading as adults?

Gun control and gun violence are moral issues. They are cultural issues. They are spiritual issues. The shocking number of mass shootings in America are a product a failed society and a failed people and a failed country. A new slaughter makes the news EVERY WEEK and yet there is no longer even a civil discussion about how to stop it – let alone talk of legislation – and no one bats a fucking eye.

The problem is that the interests of a small group of gun manufacturers and a tiny minority of angry scared white people takes precedence over the rest of society’s right to live peacefully together. Our country was founded on one basic principle: that all men (human beings) are created equal and endowed with the same inalienable rights; among these are “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

The correct moral position to take on gun control is that some people will just have to give up their right to stockpile weapons of mass destruction for the sake of what is best for the rest of society. Deal.

It takes brave, morally upstanding people of honor and integrity to give up a privilege for the benefit of all.

If the majority of us are willing to submit to restrictions on all of our other rights so we can live in harmony with our neighbors, then I don’t see why gun humpers can’t give up some of their rights for the sake of everyone’s safety – including their own children.

But that’s the problem. They don’t care about their children or anyone else’s. The only thing these fuckers care about is stockpiling high-powered weapons for protection from all the liberals, gays, Negros and Mexican gang members out there.

It is impossible to live in harmony with that breed of (sub)human.
