I fully support the Black Lives Matter protests springing up all over the country, but as someone who has seen this sort of indignant outrage flare up time and time again, only to sit back in disgust as public interest peters out while the news cycle moves on to some other manufactured crisis, all I can say is: I hope it won’t be the case this time around.

And as someone who’s ‘been-there-done-that’ and witnessed this history repeat itself endlessly every five years or so, I don’t have much hope that the protests in honor of George Floyd and Black Lives Matter will be able to sustain themselves in the face of the COVID epidemic, outside agitators and agents provocateurs, or sheer inertia.

Meaningful reform and social justice only comes through sustained, long term protest movements…including social disruption…and sometimes, property damage. But most people are unable to keep up the protests for more than a few days, even under the best of circumstances.

The “government’s” strategy is pretty clear: lay low; do absolutely nothing to provoke any new protests in the meantime; make no statements whatsoever and ignore the problem and simply wait them out. Eventually it will all go away. It’s a sound strategy and it always works.

But believe it or not, there are some lunatics in the GOP even more unhinged than tRump, and there’s nothing these bloodthirsty psychos would rather do than send in the US Special forces to start rounding up, torturing and slaughtering all of the idealistic young college kids instigating the Black Lives Matter protests.

Take Tom Cotton, proud US veteran and baby killer from the great, inbred state of Arkansas. This guy literally won’t be happy until the blood of every critical thinker in Umerka is running through the streets…so he can bottle it up and drink it. Or bathe in it; or whatever those evil fuckers do…

At the height of the uprising last week, Cotton-pickin’ Tom Tweeted, “If local law enforcement is overwhelmed and needs backup, let’s see how tough these antifa terrorists are when they’re facing off with the 101st Airborne Division…no quarter for insurrectionists, anarchists, rioters, and looters!”

Spoken like a true psycho! And of course with tRump’s full support.

Matt Gaetz – another GOP rising star from Florida who built his political career sucking tRump’s balls – actually tweeted his desire to kill his fellow citizens exercising their First Amendment rights: “Now that we clearly see antifa as terrorists, can we hunt them down like we do those in the Middle East?” Gaetz’s post was blocked by Twitter, who deemed it to be “glorifying violence.”

But look, violence is all these fuckers know. They love violence, death, mayhem, pain, misery, and destruction. ‘Glorifying violence’ is what Umerkin society is all about. We glorify it every fucking day. We’re committing genocide on every continent on the planet as I write this. Why is it suddenly an issue now? Lord knows, nobody from either party will say one goddam thing about justice or peace when Israel begins forcibly annexing the West Bank…

In my heart of hearts I know these massive protests won’t make a damn bit of difference to the Powers That Be. In a few weeks all this talk of Umerkin society reaching some kind of a “turning point” or a “revolution” or a “national reckoning” or whatever over this whole George Floyd affair – all of it will soon be forgotten when the next wave of Coronavirus cases hits, and public protests are banned for “health reasons.” Or whatever…

You just never know what they might have in store next. Our Rulers are clever dicks and they are always a few steps ahead of us…so, who knows what’s on the horizon? Maybe another huge “natural disaster?” Canceled elections? Most certainly. A war with China? Maybe a fake alien invasion? Who the fuck knows at this point? Nothing is off the table, put it that way.

My point is that despite what people want to believe, nothing is going to change. Sorry. Hoping and praying doesn’t count for shit in this world.

Without massive, sustained protest: NOTHING. EVER. CHANGES.

So, as long as no rogue units of the National Guard open fire and kill any peaceful protesters at this point, the anger and frustration will diminish over time, and eventually everyone will have to pack up, go home, and get on with their miserable, worthless lives.

Prove me wrong, Umerka. For the love of god, PLEASE PROVE ME WRONG!
