Another day, another school shooting. Another big fat angry collective yawn from American lawmakers and the media.

On Tuesday, another psycho high school student came to school with the intent to kill his classmates. Three young lives were taken and eight students were injured. NO ONE BATTED A FUCKING EYE.

Since it’s impossible that there will ever be anything resembling sensible gun control legislation ever introduced in this godforsaken country, the new strategy seems to be to simply to ignore the crisis.

Not long ago, politicians from both branches of the War Party would at least pretend to care about the devastated families and all the shattered lives after one of these incidents with insincere platitudes and bullshit fake sentiments about “hopes and prayers” and “my heart goes out to the families of the victims”…yadda yadda ya, et cetera, ad nauseum. Back when we still had some semblance of a representative government, there was actually a small minority of politicians who called for stricter gun legislation.

They no longer have jobs. Any mention of gun control from either “party” equals career suicide.

Nowadays, we don’t even get fake platitudes. It’s best now to just say as little as possible until it all blows over. Until the next mass shooting occurs and the cycle begins again.

Lord knows there isn’t a Republican on the planet with the guts to even pretend to care about any victims of any violence, anywhere. And the Dems certainly aren’t going to push it.

But that wasn’t even the only mass shooting on this day. A police officer and three other people died in a shooting in Rex, Georgia. Two women, the police officer and the suspect were killed.

Big deal, right? This barely even made headlines. It certainly didn’t warrant one word of condolence from any politician from any party. It’s just an everyday occurrence now; Umerkins must simply get used to the fact that they or their loved ones can be gunned down anytime, anywhere. No one is safe and no one should ever feel safe. Deal with it.

And if further evidence was needed that our nation is hopelessly and irrevocably FUCKED UP, support for gun control legislation is at its lowest point in nearly a decade! More people are buying guns than ever before. In 2020, nearly 23 million guns were sold: a new record. That surge has continued through 2021. Go figure.

Fucking insanity. I can’t imagine why people don’t feel safe…

It’s not like there has been any let up in mass killings, either. According to the Gun Violence Archive, there have already been 638 mass shootings so far in 2021. Clearly we all just need to buck up and accept the fact that anyone, anywhere can be gunned down at any time, no matter who you are or where you live.

And there’s not a goddam thing you can do about it.

It’s obvious that the public has been desensitized sufficiently to the point where they will no longer even ask – let alone DEMAND – their elected leaders do something to solve the problem.

Our Rulers just want to sell more guns. It makes no difference how many people die. That’s the whole point.

But this total lack of empathy for our fellow man has now become deeply embedded in our society. This is a relatively new and troubling development when citizens can’t even turn to their legislators to represent their interests on matters of life and death…like fucking gun control.

And it turns out the shooter’s dad had just purchased [legally, of course!] the semi-automatic pistol used in the Michigan shooting on the Friday before Tuesday’s massacre. “Here you go, son…”

Buy a gun on Friday, kill people on Tuesday.

It’s the American way. That fucking asshole father better have a damn good lawyer. Unless the feds decide not to charge him with anything; which would be yet another travesty of justice.

It is now a part of what passes for ‘political culture’ in this joke nation. School shootings will seem quaint when the civil war finally breaks out. The toxic culture of hate and violence in our society is reflected in the level of discourse in Washington, DC.

In the past couple of weeks, Republican Rep. Paul Gosar tweeted a video showing a character with his face killing Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The GOP did nothing.

Minnesota representative Ilhan Omar revealed that she has been receiving constant death threats, and she implored House Republican leaders to do more to tamp down “anti-Muslim hatred” in their ranks and “hold those who perpetuate it accountable.”

Boy, that’s what you call barking up the wrong tree…

Omar, one of only a handful of Muslim members in Congress, has been the subject of repeated verbal attacks by conservative pundits and some Republicans in Congress, which she says have led to an increase in the number of death threats she receives.

Recently a video of the first-term psycho demon bitch Lauren Boebert from Colorado went viral, calling Omar a member of the “jihad squad” and likening her to a bomb-carrying terrorist. The GOP did nothing.

Several of the 13 House Republicans who backed Biden’s lame infrastructure bill said they received death threats after their vote. In one profanity-laced voicemail, a caller labeled Michigan REPUBLICAN Fred Upton a “traitor” and wished for death upon the Congressman, his family and staff.

What people don’t understand is that these scumbag politicians and their enablers are at war. They are at war with their own citizens. So they attack our culture; they attack society; they attack the status quo, the common good and they basically attack everybody who refuses to enable them. And because they are at war, they don’t feel bound by any obligation to integrity, fairness, ethics…or to anything, really.

You can’t shame someone who has no shame. You can’t reason with someone who is unreasonable. These demons will go to any lengths to get their way and they will stop at nothing. THIS IS WAR.

And here once again America leads the way in HYPOCRISY. The GOP-stacked Supreme Court is about to clear the way to make abortion illegal while at the same time they refuse to act on any gun control legislation to protect LIVING citizens. Plus, we have the fucking DEATH PENALTY!

Boy, all those FINE CHRISTIANS love them unborn fetuses so goddam much…but they sure don’t give a shit about the ones who are already living.

America is climbing to ever greater heights of hypocrisy. We can no longer see that ‘shining city upon a hill’; it’s currently shrouded in a thick fog of ignorance. We’re in uncharted territory now…
