US “president” Joltin’ Joe Biden hosted a ‘Summit for Democracy’ this week.

With about 110 hand-picked world leaders in attendance for his virtual Summit for Democracy, Biden sounded the alarm over the rising tide of authoritarianism. The “president” conceded that the endeavor was less of a magic bullet than an attempt to the start a global conversation on how to prevent further democratic rot – an attempt to “seed fertile ground for democracies to bloom around the world.”

In other words, it was just a bunch of hot air.

Critics dismissed the summit as a cynical ploy to enlist the civilized nations of the world in Washington’s doomed strategic competition with China.

The planned military confrontation with China was not discussed.

Biden has been accused by so-called progressives of hosting his global summit while doing nothing to combat democratic backsliding at home. In New York City, activists staged a “funeral for democracy” outside the United Nations, in protest of US voter suppression laws. Good luck with that, I say…

The summit was basically a pointless endeavor, just like all the other fake “initiatives” meant to pacify Umerkins and encourage false hope that we still have a country. I’m really not sure how the USA plans to “seed fertile ground for democracies to bloom around the world” when our entire foreign policy is designed to combat democracy at all costs…

It was also a lame attempt to convince our few remaining allies that Umerka still has some sort of leadership role on the world stage. This of course is wishful thinking on everyone’s part since the only role the USA has to play on the world stage is to sell as many weapons of mass destruction as possible – especially to countries which are virulently opposed to democracy [i.e., Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Israel].

Similar events in the past held by global coalitions, such as the UN and the Community of Democracies have merely reaffirmed all the flowery language about the joys of democratic principles without taking any further action.

In the past year, the USA abruptly [and apparently with no pre-planning whatsoever] pulled all of our troops out of Afghanistan, creating a major diplomatic crisis and leaving the population to fend for themselves at the hands of the [CIA-created] Taliban. CIA-sponsored military coups have ousted governments in Sudan and Myanmar. Israel is in the midst of a brutal crackdown of Palestinian opposition. Cuba has launched a violent crackdown on some of its biggest protests in years – instigated by the CIA – and restricted control of the internet.

On the other end of the non-CIA controlled spectrum, Vladimir Putin’s puppet President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus refused to accept his election loss, and forced down a plane carrying a political opponent.

The pro-democracy watchdog Freedom House noted FIFTEEN straight years of democratic decline around the world, warning that the global scales are now tipping in favor of authoritarian populists and would-be dictators, who justify repression in order to expand their power and influence. People like Putin and tRump…

Biden’s problems begin at home. Umerka no longer has free and fair elections. Our mainstream media is tainted by disinformation and government propaganda, and our judiciary system is bought and paid for by the Elite. Democracy is the last thing they want.

People are finally starting to wake up. A recent poll by the Pew Research Center found that 85% of Umerkins believe that their political system “needs to be completely reformed” or “needs major changes”[!!] while respondents in more than a dozen other [CIA-administered] countries said a majority of citizens want major changes or total reform.

The USA was added to an annual list of “backsliding” democracies for the first time ever this year. According to the International IDEA think tank, there has been a “visible deterioration” of our [fake] democracy, since at least 2019. The report states: “A historic turning point came in 2020-21 when former president Donald Trump questioned the legitimacy of the 2020 election results in the United States.”

True that!

“President” Biden launched his virtual Summit for Democracy with a warning that democratic rights and norms are under threat around the world, including in the US. At least Biden acknowledged that one of those countries in decline was his own. Since the disastrous November 2020 “elections” voting rights have been successfully curtailed by the GOP in many states – where gerrymandering and voter suppression is still rife.

Another focus of Biden’s ‘pro-democracy’ initiative is combating corruption, and [CIA front] USaid will run a series of projects to monitor and target corruption networks and protect whistleblowers, civil society groups and others fighting corruption in their home countries.

[The above statement would be true with ONE MINOR ADJUSTMENT. It should read: USaid will run a series of projects to protect corruption networks and monitor and target whistleblowers, civil society groups and others fighting corruption in their home countries].

Because we live in BIZARRO WORLD now and that is the reality. Up is down and down is up. The USA is basically one huge criminal enterprise, and we are going after whistleblowers with ever increasing ferocity. Julian Assange is simply the most high profile case. There are many more. Predictably, none of the other attendees at the summit brought up this blatant hypocrisy.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken provided the opening remarks. Granted, he’s got better manners than the cretin Mike Pompeo, but he has the same arrogant lack of awareness – pontificating on the importance of protecting journalists from oppression while the US “government” goes full steam ahead to prosecute Julian Assange for espionage. If it wasn’t the hideous reality, it would be hilarious.

The complicit silence of the corporate state propaganda [MSM] is crucial in maintaining this charade.

The IDEA report pointed to a “decline in the quality of freedom of association and assembly during the summer of protests in 2020” after the police killing of George Floyd. Well, duh. It will only get worse.

All that talk of de-funding the police has been successfully silenced while the police state rolls on.

Meanwhile, the administration continues to reward government fraudsters  and global polluters like Boeing, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Bechtel and other death merchants with enormous tax subsidies and multi-billion dollar no-bid contracts. The National Defense Authorization Act [NDAA] authorized $740 billion for the Defense Department in fiscal year 2022, about $25 billion more than what the Biden administration even requested.

No one bats an eye.
