OLYMPIC HYPOCRISY, 2022

If China is supposedly our sworn ideological enemy, then why do they make all of our stuff? Why are we billions of fucking dollars in debt to a hostile nation? How much sense does that make?

I mean, if the USA, Inc. is so concerned about China’s supposed human rights abuses and “rampant” militarism, why don’t they simply shut down all those factories and sweat shops then, and return America’s industrial base to its rightful owners?

America’s workers didn’t vote to transfer our entire manufacturing infrastructure to China. There was no vote. They had no say in the matter whatsoever. The decision to dismantle our industrial base and move it to China was entirely the decision of corporate America, i.e., the US ‘government’ – and it was based solely on greed, the availability of cheap slave labor, and the complete lack of any pesky environmental regulations.

Our industrial infrastructure was quietly dismantled during the treasonous “Reagan Revolution” – when all those fake economists were touting the virtues of ‘de-regulation,’ ‘privatization,’ and ‘trickle down’ economics. They swore up and down that everyone would benefit from the ensuing economic boom – which of course never materialized.

The US economy was destroyed in order to maximize the profits of a tiny minority over the needs of millions of average working people. Certainly not because anyone gave a shit about the environment or out of a concern for human rights!

Other than opening up a huge new revenue stream for Our Rulers, sending all of our manufacturing jobs overseas also served to disenfranchise millions of workers from their birthright, creating a whole generation of working poor.

All this fake outrage about China’s human rights abuses – coming from the global leader in human rights abuses – is simply beyond the pale. The paltry [fake] threats of US multinationals to boycott the Beijing Winter Olympics in 2022 on some kind of moral ground or ‘principles’ is a hypocritical, to say the least.

Behind the scenes, the real world is a very different place. As many insiders have stated over the years, at the highest echelons of global governance there is widespread cooperation across the board on a multitude of truly important issues. Russia, China and the USA all play their respective roles in creating the illusion of global conflict, but in reality they work in tandem, and they coordinate important events when it serves them.

They are all reading from the same script, in other words.

But the Olympics are all about advertising dollars, marketing and branding; not so much about promoting peace and goodwill though athletic endeavors. If the global community and the IOC were so concerned about the threat China poses to the world they wouldn’t keep rewarding them by allowing them to host so many Olympic games…

China is where the money is. It’s all about dollar signs. Future Olympics will undoubtedly be awarded to the Gulf States, because that’s where the real money is: expect Dubai, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi to be on the list for upcoming Games, as will China, again, I’m sure.

All this bullshit Olympic rhetoric about human “passion,” “courage” and “Human Spirit” is secondary to increasing shareholder profits for the Fortune 500. The show must go on.

[So why do I still love the Olympics?]
