Florida

Public schools in Florida will soon be required by law to post the state’s motto – “In God We Trust” – on all public buildings and campuses where students and staff can see them. The House voted on the legislation 97 to 10, with members standing and applauding the results – after somehow also finding time to debate and approve a bill declaring pornography a “public health risk.”

Yet the House refused by a vote of 71 to 37 to even consider a bill to ban assault rifles. But they are considering legislation to train teachers to use firearms in the classroom. (Governor Rick “The Hills Have Eyes” Scott since signed legislation raising the legal limit to buy an AR15 to 21, but that’s about it).

Florida legislators would rather discuss the dangers of porn and the need for more religion in public schools than solve any actual problems.

But my question is: if their solution to the gun problem is more guns, why isn’t the solution to the porn problem MORE PORN?

These hypocrites can’t get their ideology straight, it seems…
