When I was growing up, everyone had to read George Orwell’s 1984 in High School, and we were constantly warned about the horrors of such a dystopian and terrifying future world. I guess it was okay to teach about the dangers of being passive in the face of totalitarianism back when teachers could relate Winston Smith’s world to life under communist rule…but not so much now. It’s kind of amusing. There isn’t a whole lot of difference anymore between the USA and Oceania.

Meanwhile, all the clueless suckers continue to broadcast their personal information on SOCIAL MEDIA. They give daily updates of their activities on INSTAGRAM. They put all of their banking info on the Apple icloud…or whatever.

Keeping all your data on a ‘cloud’ doesn’t seem all that secure to me. A cloud is water vapor. How fucking secure is that? Who came up with that shit, anyway? STUPID!

Why don’t they invent something that’s actually secure and call it a ‘lock box’ or THE VAULT or something that inspires a little more confidence in the encryption methods? Sadly, the only reason we can’t have that level of security is because the NSA wants to be able to hack all of our personal data at will. Too bad it makes it that much easier for ‘bad actors’ to hack as well…depending on your definition of ‘bad’…

And, just as I predicted when the first commercially available home bugging devices like ALEXA appeared on the market – now there are already several competing home spying gadgets available from your trustworthy friends at Apple (HomePed) and Google (Echo)…and there will certainly be more. The acceptance of this insidious technology into our lives is truly terrifying, and it has happened much faster than even I imagined.

Incredibly, around 20 million American families already have voice-activated “assistants” installed in their homes. Projected sales of another 4 & half million units are expected during the 2019 holiday season — up 22 percent from last year. It can’t be over-stated enough: THERE ARE WAY TOO MANY STUPID FUCKING PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY.

Why anyone would voluntarily install one of these nasty little spy boxes in their own homes is beyond me. Once upon a time The State had to use force or guile or break the law; these days we invite them into our homes, strip, bend over and let them fuck us! Now, given the choice, most of the useless eaters are willing to pay through the nose for the very devices which control every aspect of their lives.

With the way fascists are taking over the planet and the rule of law is disintegrating before our eyes, those devices will be – and undoubtedly are already being – used for sinister purposes. How naïve do you have to be not to see this?

Those who willingly use these infernal contraptions are putting MY personal safety in jeopardy – and they put everyone’s freedom and democracy at risk by helping to foster the surveillance state.

But hey, soon they will be mandatory, so there won’t be a damn thing you can do about it. Laws will be passed. You will have to pay for the installation. Every new home will come with ALEXA already installed.
