The US is an oligarchical republic in the guise of ancient Rome. The only public services the unwashed masses will be afforded are the scraps [the ‘Bread and Circuses‘] that are deemed necessary to keep them compliant.

The USA doesn’t provide basic anything to most citizens. We aren’t entitled to stuff like livable wages, decent jobs, childcare, vacations, sick leave, a good education, decent healthcare or even a roof over our heads – even with a full-time job.

Americans are lucky to get any full-time work at all, frankly. Most jobs are not unionized, and the few decent jobs that are available are part time – or employees are classified as ‘contractors’ so that their bosses don’t have to cover their already measly benefits.

Many Americans are forced to work second [or even third!] jobs just to make ends meet. They have a cute name for it: the “gig” economy. It’s an atrocious situation, especially since the corporations are making money hand over fist through government subsidies from them!

In the civilized world [i.e., Western Europe], governments routinely provide most of these services for the good of their people, and because the people demand them. The USA deprives its citizens of basic necessities which are standard the world over.

The lack of any sort of decent childcare in this country is perhaps the most appalling aspect of our hyper-capitalist society. That is the ONE THING the government can do to help the poor and working people rise out of poverty; alas free [or even reasonably affordable] childcare is all but a distant dream in America. Even if legislation is enacted to improve the lives of the majority of citizens, the corporate state will flaunt every loophole and continuously crush them in the courts.

With the onset of the ‘Reagan Revolution’ in the early 80s, a new policy of ‘friendly fascism’ took hold among the nation’s ruling elite. Economic shysters like Arthur Laffer [inventor of the ‘Laffer Curve’] and former counter-intelligence assets like Charles Murray were hailed as heroes for their anti-human ideas. Charles Murray worked for the CIA’s murderous PHOENIX program in Viet Nam, but he is better known as the co-author of THE BELL CURVE, which among other things made the ridiculous assertion that White people and Asians were genetically superior to Blacks and Hispanics…

Even though these concepts have since been totally discredited, at the time they made perfect sense to all the old white men who run the economy, and so they eagerly began applying the pacification methods developed during the Viet Nam War to American society based on class, race, and economic inequality.

The ‘New World Order’ decided that social programs to win hearts and minds of the people were less effective than punitive measures. Things like building roads, schools, health clinics – or providing decent jobs – just didn’t work.

According to Murray and his ilk, reducing poverty and crime through social programs would never be effective in America. Anything the government did to support families and nudge people in the right direction was deemed to be counterproductive. The elite were convinced – without evidence – that providing basic services to citizens would only encourage the sorts of behaviors they were trying to curb.

So Murray and others advised harsher prison terms with “zero-tolerance” measures to deter drug use and crime, as well as the abolition of vital social programs – including food stamps, welfare, and the social security pension system.

“Libertarian” Murray was also instrumental in helping to draft ‘president’ Clinton’s Orwellian Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Act of 1996, which effectively killed off all remaining social programs in the US. Specific emphasis was put on cutting welfare for single mothers to reduce poverty in order to de-incentivize them from having more babies.

It was a cruel and ineffective move. Instead of achieving its stated goal of incentivizing people to find work and raise smaller families, it instead plunged minority communities into even more suffering and impoverishment.

These programs have been a total disaster for the country, although they gave a modern scientific veneer to public policies which reinforced racism, inequality and structural poverty.

A policy of division, factionalism and antagonism is being ramped up in the USA – a country with the most diversified population on earth. We are kept in a constant state of turmoil through divisive legislation intended to provoke interracial strife and social stratification.

While there is agreement across the board among the global elite that the Unwashed Masses must be down-bred in order to reduce their intelligence and make them more docile and less apt to rise up in rebellion, the prevailing mindset still appears to involve massive population reduction through the indiscriminate slaughter of vast swathes of humanity – either through war, genocide, or disease.

The elite are an insular, clannish bunch, given to many idiosyncrasies and superstitions. Their isolation from the rest of humanity and the world that we inhabit has rendered them emotionally retarded, incapable of loving or caring or giving. To them, the blood sacrifice of innocents is no more noteworthy than the swatting of an annoying fly – and imminently more useful.

I see no hope for USA in the foreseeable future.
